Start and stop
Mining is a timed character action. Moving, fighting or changing the relevant state stops it, so choose a safe spot before you begin.

VIP clean mining
With VIP active, ordinary ores are filtered out and gems can still be received. It keeps your inventory tidy; it does not change your mining luck.
